Reported on Loyalty Lonby (who claims it is from EK) that Heathrow are to ban all liquids from hand baggage!!!!
Surely that is neither possible or sensible. Hand baggage only fares immediately comes to mind
Just checked and seems to be on the EK website too, a strange decision
According to Loyalty Lobby, LHR have confirmed that this is not correct. Does not mean, that there isn’t a hint of truth to it thought.

OMG, read the heading and thought no LPGS, darlings! 🍾🤣
Someone has got the wrong end of the stick on this. As LHR has previously advised, capacity will be extremely tight over Christmas and there is still a major problem with people arriving at security with too much luggage and ignoring all the rules re liquids, taking out laptops/iPads, fully emptying pockets etc. despite pre-advice, notices and staff queue combers. People then arguing when stuff is going to be confiscated, wasting yet more time.
As this all leads to the risk of cancellations (BA has done this proactively but others don’t want to) so airlines are being asked to help improve passenger compliance.
