Anyone noticed lack of Virgin availability this morning? Seems like they have (maybe temporarily?) pulled reward availability which was available yesterday and still showing as available on seatspy. On some dates this even includes no economy redemptions either. This is for JNB but can also see same for CPT. Hope it’s temporary!
Hmmm. I’ve been monitoring VS reward flights from Seattle (looking to book for Jul next year) – from there being plenty of UC & PE availability yesterday, now only the odd PE seat showing.
As you say, hope it’s only a temporary blip.So that means it’s not destination specific and potentially widespread – Very odd indeed and annoying! Especially as seatspy are still showing the same availability as yesterday so even if they only update hourly or every couple hours this should have been reflected by now. So unless it’s a Virgin website issue perhaps.
SeatSpy showing plenty of availability on MAN routes, though it is looking a bit odd in places, e.g. loads of seats outbound to JFK in June but none whatsoever inbound!

Seat Spy may be showing it but as mentioned, the virgin website isn’t reflecting this!
I had been looking at BGI over the last few days for next June. Yesterday there were about 15 different permutations of out & return in UC, but now there are none showing at all.
Something odd happening…. Hopefully temporary. That or everyone has suddenly booked things. 🙁

I checked the virgin website for what you mentioned before I replied. Nothing which is showing on SS for MAN – JFK for eg is showing on VS

Just saying that as now a few others have mentioned above, what is being shown on SS for various destinations is not being reflected on VS website

Ah right – that’s frustrating given the welcome nature of the extra recent award availability. Hoping to do JFK-MAN direct next year and avoid LHR!
Let’s hope it all returns soon asap!
SS have now updated their website to reflect current availability, in the case of JNB not a single seat JNB – LHR in NOV in any cabin

Has anyone worked out if there is a set time flights are loaded? I’ve been looking for UVF with no luck. Popular I’m sure, but there’s been nothing coming up. Not entirely convinced by this guaranteed availability yet…

Exactly! Looks like they’ve been at it again overnight, 99% of the outbound flights now disappeared across all cabins between sept – july from LHR – JNB.
I noticed the same. We booked a couple of UC tickets last week to LAX, and I was looking to change one of the flight times. I looked the other day and availability was wide open apart from 2 days for next June. Looked yesterday and there was only a handful of days with availability. Hopefully just a glitch rather them rethinking the generosity of the 12 guaranteed award seats per flight.
Looks like it has been restored basing on the routes I was monitoring…
