(Eventually) flew out of Gatwick yesterday, with only a 4hr delay – so I guess we did well in the scheme of things. However they have abandoned priority check in for Silver & Club – only Gold & First being invited to use the dedicated zone at the top of the line.
Appreciate it’s not a major deal, but as a recently re-minted silver card holder and needing to check in bags for the first time in a year, it added to the feel of “death by 1000 cuts” that permeated much of the experience yesterday…
I wasn’t paying full attention as someone had left their phone in the car that had gone off to meet and greet but I think it was just that the entry to the queues had gone wrong , once “inside” there was still a dedicated biz/silver queue and desks
