Maybe best to ask like this..
My partner has applied for the card. She was only a supplementary before.
Logged into her BAEC, clicked link at bottom. Opened page on AMEX for 60K, applied, got accepted – did everything by the book.
We registered her card today but only the tracker for the Comp Voucher is showing.. is this normal? I remember mine showing for the 70K immediately when I checked the Membership part in the app.
Can anyone advise?
Spend trackers are hit and miss with Amex. The are usually absent from the app/website but sometimes do show up. Just get your partner to check with Amex via the in-app chat function. They’ll be able to confirm she’s registered for the bonus and update on spend progress.

Are you sure? The people on the chat said that we need to start spending on it for it to appear. But I told them I can see the companion vouchers tracker. I also seen it every other time with other cards myself.. we spent on it and it hasn’t cleared yet of course but nothing appeared. So it’s a bit confusing.

What would be the reason for 1/2 appearing only? I guess the question to ask anyone at AMEX is that is it not appearing on my side only.. I know many had issues with the previous SUB that was on BAs side so I am extremely confident the error isn’t on my side signing up wrong.

Perhaps some technical issue. I remember that my SUB also wasn’t showing (via chat with an agent) until I’d made a transaction on the card. I wouldn’t sweat it – Amex usually come through in the end.
I applied for the plat back in April, tracker never appeared, asked twice and they said I was eligible, gave a load of old waffle re the tracker not showing. Got the SUB no issue when I reached the spend threshold
I also made a point of asking the chat how much I had spent at various points so a) I could keep track and b) ask the question that I was def eligible
I have the exact same issue, I have the companion voucher tracker but no 60k bonus tracker. I tried the chat but they said speak to BA…
