So do we get charged Non-sterling purchase fee: 2.99% of purchase for this card as on the card T&C’s it says ‘May’ charge Non-sterling purchase fee: 2.99% of purchase.

Interesting, as far as I know you will get charged 2.99% for a non-sterling purchase.

Many others including myself are using Curve to bypass this, as Curve handles the conversion and passes a sterling transaction to your card.

yip i have it via curve, just want to know for when i need to use it directly for section 75 cover etc

Yes, I used it for a hotel booking in Barbados and was charged a non sterling fee.

Watch out with Curve and their very low FX allowance nowadays.
