We are thinking of visiting Northern Sardinia in June, aiming for relaxation and coastal walking. (Flight from Heathrow to Olbia).
All experience and suggestions welcome.
It’s beautiful, though the last time I went was 2006! Another visit is long overdue. The archaeological sites are unique and well worth a visit if you like that kind of thing (you’ll need a car).
I can recommend Ca’ La Somara, Arzachena as a place to stay.
I love Sardinia.
Rent a car and have good insurance (I had the one from Plat) as there are so many places to see.
If you are a beach bunny like myself the opportunities are endless.
June will be hot and some beaches do not have shops etc so be prepared.
Olbia is not the most interesting I think. But there is a decent doubletree there if you are collecting HH.
