Anyone know when they come out and when they do, if you can use a companion voucher?
Which inbound flight date are you thinking of, short haul or long haul?
I’ve booked mine already for long haul they’ve definitely been out for a few days. I booked the return last weekend.
Which route? Most award seats are released at T-355 (so currently up to 5/11/25), some short-haul routes not always. You can use a companion voucher as per the Ts and Cs on BA, Iberia and Aer Lingus.
I was looking London Gatwick to lanzaroti. Nothing yet
For Gatwick last year outbound were out at the usual time, inbound were quite late if I remember correctly (maybe December or Jan). this year I booked outbound at the usual release time but inbound came a few days late but it was released this week. assuming you are looking for outbound 25/11 ish, back 2nd Nov.
SeatSpy is showing plenty of availability up to Nov 5th, except for the main half term period, when outbound would be around October 18th to 25th. Which dates did you want? If that particular week, you may be too late now.
I was looking for 19th oct till 29th. I can see the 19th but not the return. Is it worth using companion voucher just on the outbound and booking the return separately?

You could do that if you think the 18th will go.
Gatwick schedule for 26/10 through 2/11 was released on Thursday afternoon, but I guess there could be further additions. I think as someone said upthrrad, December sometimes sees the first cut of the Euroflyer winter t/table.
How many seats are you looking for? SeatSpy is showing 2 x economy and 4 x club on the 29th.
You could make 2 bookings in different cabins if necessary.
As with any avios booking, you could use the 241 for the outbound, then ask BA to add the inbound or book it online and request 50% avios back.
It’s unlikely BA will release more seats for a school holiday when they know cash sales will be strong, so it’s probably advisable to get something booked asap.
So it looks as though there’s only IB availability left for the 19th, which would mean changing in MAD and probably also paying more avios and cash than on BA.
I’m actually doing this route myself next year, but cash fares are so cheap it’s not really worth using avios. We’re staying overnight in Madrid so we can get the early departure into ACE so we can arrive as domestic pax, get our luggage and hire car and be out of there before all the LCCs start arriving from northern Europe!
