Fly to sfo from lhw I. A few weeks on a old Boeing 777 I believe and I’m tired of using the free poor quality headphones supplied to listen to entertainment and wish to use my own earbuds , would like recommendation for a workable blue tooth adapter

There’s a suggestion online that these don’t physically connect well with BA. Any experience?

I use Airfly Pro and it works really well, it’s not as cheap but Twelve South have been around for years and provide good support.

Another Airfly Pro user – was about £60 from memory but very reliable.

Airfly Pro is a great choice. But any will work with BA as you’re just connecting to the standard 3.5mm audio jack.
