Just tried to check in online for a flight tomorrow LHR-AGP, worked fine for OH but said my documents not valid to issue boarding pass. Rang BA silver line, quick response and said documents fine but its an IT issue (No!) but suspect extra checks re escaped prisoner??
Or just the occasional random check, I think I get this once every 4 years on average
I’ve done LHR twice this week, both before the prisoner thing was announced (but after LHR had been giving advisories about delays due to CTP activity), and haven’t noticed any differences, to be honest. I think it’s less that and more either crap IT or random check. They’ll play it up as the latter, even if it was the former.
