I’m not entirely sure if this is feasible, but if a travel agent uses their own OB number instead of mine, can I call up BA to get ut removed so I can replace it with mine? It’s quite annoying when they do that and there’s no way of replacing it online.

    Thank you

Get the travel agent to remove it and put yours. You presumably also paid them their fee. At my partner’s previous firm, the chosen travel agent has put their OB number and has been collecting points without telling the firm. I spotted it one day by accident and my partner reported it to his boss. Needless to say, the said travel agent’s the contract was terminated after that.

For all you travel agents out there, if you want to do it be upfront about it!

Thank you. What if the travel agent is used by a university, so they book professors’ trips out of their research budget. A research budget is part of a professor’s package so technically what the travel agent is doing is not 100% right. Is there a way to get BA to remove the OB number instead?

I think in a few occasions I managed to claim back OB points afterwards, but it’s not 100% guaranteed.
