Open Jaw Redemptions with Barclays Upgrade Voucher

Hi everyone,

I promise I googled the site before posting. I found Rob’s article about open jaw bookings using Avios and an Amex voucher: https://www.headforpoints.com/2022/09/20/booking-open-jaw-redemption-flight-using-avios-points/

Does anyone know whether the same is possible with a Barclays one? Basically, I have a conference in Chicago in the spring but want to fly back from New York where I have friends. The points and costs return are identical LHR-ORD and LHR-JFK return, so it would be really good if I could mix and match, rather than have to add in an extra flight.

Yes you can book an open jaw return LHR-ORD JFK-LHR with your Barclays voucher, but you’ll need to call BA to book
