If anyone would be able to confirm, I’d be really grateful.
Plan is to do LHR to Singapore, then return Bangkok to LGW
Will be using our companion voucher.

You can absolutely do this (if you can find availability, of course). Obviously there may be practical issues for you in flying out of one airport and into another, but that’s not relevant to the ticketing process.
You’ll need to call BA at some stage, depending on how you’re planning to do this.
The London airports (and similarly in other cities around the world deemed to be part of the same metropolitan area) are the same for the purposes of fare calculation.
It’s fine, 2 weeks ago we flew out of LHR to Gibraltar and back from Malaga to LCY. We used a 241 (it was expiring and rather than lose it, we had 6 nights in the sun) It was sent for ticketing but there were no issues.
