Quick query, is it possible to do an open jaw reward flight with Virgin like you can with Avios?
So LHR to Atlanta and then come back via JFK??

Yes no problem. Done it many times. You can also build in Delta connections. You need to do it via the call centre though if you’re using a voucher. If you’re just using points you can book 2 x one ways on the web

Yes, I have LHR to Washington DC and the back from Orlando to LHR booked. As mentioned above I used a voucher so booked through the call centre.

Thanks a lot guys, one more thing – when booking through the call centre, is that the best time to get your Eurobonus Gold number attached to the booking??

There’s no best time – do it then and there, or on the website afterward.

With Virgin, my approach is always to call the staff. They can do things that are impossible online.
My “open jaw” reward flight was London to LAX, and “return” from Shanghai to London.

How about Double Open Jaw ? For instance MIA-LHR,JNB-LHR would that also be covered by virgin voucher? Any recent experiences?

That’s not an open jaw itinerary. But double open jaw would be, e.g. LHR-MIA/JFK-MAN. As noted, it’s highly likely VS agents would be able to book it over the phone.

Correct — my mistake. How about this instead: I fly from MIA → LHR, then later return from JNB → LHR → MIA (with a layover in LHR). That creates an open-jaw itinerary, right?

Can I use my Virgin Atlantic companion voucher for this routing?
Also, how would taxes be calculated for the second leg?

I still think it’s unlikely but you’re only going to find out by asking VS!
