Paying Amex USD ICC with Revolut or Wise

Evening, a bit confused as usual 🙂

Does anyone here pay their ICC with Revolut or Wise?

I’m trying to add the American Express Services Europe bank account to Wise – it rejected the ABA code as unrecognised and also rejected the SWIFT, with error message:

“We don’t support Swift payments in USD to bank accounts located in the United States or United States territories”

I’ve added the account to Revolut, seemingly with no issues, but now I am worried because it says “ACH” and I have an ‘ABA’ code and I really do not want this payment to go astray.

Yes, I’ve done both, now using Wise (well, just stopped, as I’ve closed my ICC). I gleaned the instructions from these very forums 😀

Hi – I’ve just resurrected that thread lol

I wanted to know if the ACH number you provided on the other thread is still valid (as noted problems with ABA), and if the account number is still the same one as the one provided by Amex?
