I have a companion voucher earned with a BA Premium Amex card. I know when I come to make the booking I need to pay for the taxes using an amex card in my name. Does anyone know if I have to be the ‘main’ account holder on this amex, or can I use a supplementary card in my name, but attached to my wife’s amex account?
I’d like to start the two year timer to get SUB’s again, but am not ready to use the voucher yet.
Cheers!
Any Amex will do – there’s no check of the name on the card, so you could (with permission!) use someone else’s card if you needed to. A supplementary in your name would definitely be fine.
Interesting. We just booked and the name field was prepopulated with the bookers name and not able to be changed. Are you saying we can ignore this and just enter someone else’s card details??
