Made 2 payments on Friday to the Avios plus card , got a text Saturday to say payment received , however there still pending on the account today (Sunday) balance not reflected.
I also made a payment to my barclaycard platinum , same method of payment on the Friday , that posted within 4 hours and was showing on the account as a credit and balance reflected.
Is this normal with regards to the avios card. Strange why the same company posts credits in different time scales

Can you specify the payment times, value and remitting banks?
All payments made on Friday approx 09.30 from Halifax bank , first payment to the avios was £1.00 (as my first payment to them) , next to avois was £20.00
After that I did £20 to the barclaycard plat card.
Plat posted 4 hours and balance updated.
Todate with the avios card they are still pending (balance not reflected)

I find card payments hit the account in 30 minutes or so. Shows pending for first day but balance is updated.
So from Bank of Scotland/Lloyds to Barclays.
LBG tends to force you to use a specific Sort Code and account number for major beneficiaries. Given that these are fairly new number ranges, have you checked that they are an exact match for what Barclays have detailed. It may make a difference between how they are processed to accounts at Barclays end.
Either way, you’ll probably find on Monday that all the batch processing has been done and the credits are all for value Friday as they should be.
If it helps, I did some faster payments from Halifax which seem to appear the next day as pending and then cleared the day after.
If you pay off your balance mid month, do you earn more Avios for use on this card? Or is it limited to monthly limit like virgin card?
