PayPal not accepting Amex for British Airways spend

I have been trying to pay for BA flights using Amex via our PayPal account to take advantage of the Paypal offer.
However, despite checking all set up ok Paypal absolutely refuses to list the Amex card for payment despite it being our preferred method.
Is this an issue with BA only? Anyone else struggling?

Not an issue with BA only. Some companies restrict the use of Paypal to certain cards. If you use Paypal you won’t get S75 rights, so I wouldn’t book any flights using Paypal.
