Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Peak v Off-Peak query

Would somebody be good enough to check something for me….trying to get a nephew out to Nashville from Heathrow, one way.
The BA website shows very clearly that week commencing May 26th, each day is Off Peak.
However, trying to book a one way on PE, on any day that week, payment insists on 67500 Avios which is the Peak rate. Off Peak should be 47500. Thanks.

What BA shows on the website is invariably nonsense. It’s one of many BA “quirks”.

But we had it reported that 24th to 31st of May would be peak dates. This prophecy appears to be very valid!

Given that week is half term it doesn’t surprise me that it’s being charged as peak.

Thigh usually the day after a bank holiday is charged as off-peak.

Tuesdays and the odd Wednesday are usually off-peak, which can be helpful in school holidays and similar periods of high demand.
