Points deducted for ‘BA Consumer Base’

In my AmEx app, I have just clicked on the ‘latest activity’ link and I see that 2883 points have been deducted for something called ‘BA Consumer Base’. I have no idea what this is. Points are normally deducted when you return something but I haven’t, and certainly not for that amount. Does anyone know what this could be please? Thanks

Don’t panic, that’s the Avios being transferred to your BAEC for the latest statement period, so it zeroes the accumulation at Amex at that point and the corresponding sum will now be on your BA account.
