New to platinum. Card just arrived this week. I’m trying to book a car with Hertz however it’s not letting me pre pay online, only pay on collection. I’m signed in with the account I created through the platinum benefits page and I’ve manually added the 633306 code to my account. Since using this code, all the prepay options disappear. Is this right?

Have you tried using CDP 633306 but when logged out? Does that allow pre-pay as well as pay on collection? 633306 will give you the 4 hour plat grace period if that’s important to you, and the plat discount (10%?).
It used to be possible to book whilst logged out and then modify the booking, log in and add it to your account (there was a thread on FlyerTalk) but I haven’t got that working in the past couple of years. I am finding less variance in the logged out / logged in prices compared to what used to be possible a few years ago!
FWIW I’ve been able to use 633306 and use pre-pay and not sure why it doesn’t work for you. Have you added your Plat card into the account as a payment option? Is the upcoming rental in the near future…?To be honest the Hertz web experience is pretty poor. Will sit down later and properly compare pricing between logged in/logged out and all the combination of codes.
My platinum card is saved into my profile. Only that code is the one that removes the prepay option. The other one seems to work ok (and pricing is even better)Make sure the ‘use reward points’ checkbox is NOT ticked. It often defaults to ticked and gives you worse options.
The site is horrific though, so it could be any number of glitches causing an issue.
