Forums Other Destination advice Pocket Concierge / food recommendation in Japan with child

Hi there, my wife, son, and I are going to be in Tokyo, Okinawa, and Osaka over 3+ weeks in late June to mid July. We are looking to use the £150 dine abroad benefit through Amex Platinum during this period. To avail of this, it looks like we just need to prepay with our card for a restaurant using the Pocket Concierge website.

There look to be some amazing sushi restaurants that my wife and I would be very interested in, but the complication is finding somewhere that is appropriate for our little guy who is only five years old.

Perhaps a long shot, but does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants that will welcome younger ones and are on the pocket concierge site?

Alternatively, we could also save the dine abroad credit for Hong Kong in October if there were somewhere more suitable there.

I spotted this in Tokyo: https://pocket-concierge.jp/en/restaurants/245007. It isn’t sushi though.

Child policy: Lunch – Children under 10 years old are welcome to dine with us from 1:30pm (Except private dining room). Dinner – Children under 10 years old are welcome to dine with us in our private dining room.

    Thanks. Will take a look.
