Received an account email overnight which states these changes go into effect on the the 22nd which is about a week earlier than stated on HFP a few weeks back.
So get those redemptions locked in ASAP if you’re planning one in the next year
I cashed our 650k points out for a Xmas/New Year road trip, amazing value as cash prices are $400 – $1000 per night. Probably the end of my relationship with Marriott/Bonvoy.
Is this true? I had it in for next week as currently doing a stay to get the last few points I need

The devaluation has already begun.
I was thinking of booking 10 nights at the St Regis Maldives.
A couple of days ago a Beach Villa was 425k for 5 nights (5-for-4), now it’s 560k.
The “standard” rooms appear to remain the same, but all “premium” rooms have been heavily increased.
Premium Rooms are priced at the hotel’s discretion, so this was presumably always up and down.
