Does anyone know if one needs to have their salary (of over 75,000 GBP) paid into the newly set up Premier Account in order to receive the 100,000 points?

The net amount is 40,000 or about 3330 a month. Otherwise after year 1 you get charged £20 per month, which I assume is on top of the £12 Avios fee.

So you just have to transfer 3300 a month to that account, from say another account? And then presumably you can transfer that amount away each month if necessary?

No, the £3,300 has to come from the employer, not a personal account. It has to be genuine income.
Who told you the £3.3k needs to originate from an employer?
Is it from 1 salary or would they accept across 2 salaries as just falling a little short from 1?
I don’t think it says anything about where the money comes from. Why would they care? I’m self employed and transfer random amounts over at random times. As long as I hit the 40000 annual target I assume I’ll be fine.
I got the letter today for premier banking just mentions for “free Premier banking” £3,330 paid into your account each month to avoid the £12 monthly fee or if your a new Premier banking customer we won’t charge the fee for first 12 months
Still have not recieved my physical avios plus card although I have linked card to avios for points
No email or letter acknowledgement yet only 2 weeks so far for the 100k or is it 125k for avios plus card + Premier banking ??
Hi , first time posting. I had the Avios plus credit card which i got a 50K sign up fee for and noticed last week the 100K offer for opening a premier account. I have opened the account and got an email stating I am eligible for the 100K. However the Barclays app seems awful. I have tried to use the switch service to transfer my santander 123 account to my Barclays Premier account but am getting constant errors. Barclays customer service suggest i should go into a branch but i’m not sure i have the time or energy to do this.
I do earn over 75K and plan to just transfer 4K a month to the premier account and then move it back to my Santander the same day. I ‘think’ this will mean i only pay the £12 and not the £20 per month ? Also i believe i should get £5 back a month into one of these accounts for having and paying for both accounts ?
I’m looking at 175K points bonuses in total plus about 5K a month in spending in bonuses which is amazing but my experience with Barclays so far hasn’t been great to say the least.Hi , first time posting. Barclays has in the past asked for proof of income to confirm Premier eligibility of existing account holders, so they may do that in the future (I think someone has received a letter about being checked after 12 months), but for the purpose of not paying the fee, just transferring una di out the amount will work.
