I’m due to fly to the US in October. Travelling premium economy. Would you choose a BA or AA-operated flight?
I’ve experienced both, I prefer the BA seat because it doesn’t have a solid aisle armrest. If BA are operating A380 aircraft on your route, PE on the upper deck is very good.
+1 for BA. AA crew are worse than BA crew even when you get a rotten BA crew. I try and avoid AA for Premium but have no choice in a few weeks as I need to fly back from Austin on a Thursday which means indirect through DFW
I don’t think the differences are that great and are often overstated. A couple of things to consider might be that If you don’t have status then BA will charge for seat selection while AA won’t. On the other hand, you will have EU delay protection on the Eastbound on BA but not on AA.
