PressReader invite email missing for 50% of flights

Over recent months, the standard BA T-24h email “Your departure [locator] [date] [time]” frequently never arrives.

Without this “It’s time to fly” email I miss the free 3-day Pressreader invite.

I can’t see any pattern to the non-arrival of these BA emails. They don’t seem to be in spam or quarantine.

Anyone else having this?

I like to download papers/magazines before I get to the slow (if LHR) lounge wifi.

PressReader will send the missing invite if I contact their support but I’ve had to do this about 10 times this year.

Can’t comment on BA press reader emails as I don’t remember ever getting them. If you’re based in the UK, just join a local library – many allow you to join online without ever having to set foot in one and you’ll get Pressreader access anytime you want.

If you’re in London, all London boroughs’ libraries offer Pressreader access as part of their library services.
