I needed to call BA the other day around a query with an FTV.
Whilst on the phone the member of staff booked a return flight for me to the US – I could easily have done this myself, but whilst on the phone etc….
This was an Avios booking. Can someone explain why the price was almost £50 cheaper having it booked for me, as opposed to using the website.
I’ve paid around £770 in tax, whereas it was £818 online. Happy days, but just curious.
Did you click all the way through? The price often changes between the first screen and the last screen. Otherwise no idea, bank error in your favour 🙂
