Forums Payment cards American Express Priority Pass at Grain Store at Gatwick – double food credit allowed?

  • 218 posts

Hello. Myself and my partner each have our own priority pass cards but also an extra one each as we are each others supplementary card holders ( we both have platinum Amex )
We are at Gatwick next week with our 2 kids so a family of four. Usually 2 passes gives £60 of food and drink but do you think they’d let us use all 4 cards -so receiving up to £120 off the bill? Thanks in advance.

As I read the terms it is £15 per person, so I don’t think you can double up.

If you ask the server politely at time of order they will usually happily process this for you…. Obv depends upon the server but they are usually amenable

Thanks both. So do they usually swipe your priority pass card at the time of ordering? Suppose no harm asking…

Yes they do, but the manager has to do it personally. But do ask, works for me…

We used two (Amex) priority pass cards for 5 people last week. The server added a second guest – to our surprise we got a £75 credit rather than the expected £60. So worth checking if you can just add extra guests without paying. But there were 5 people physically there which might be the deal breaker for you.

Isn’t that normal though? 5 guest entries at 15 each = 75. And you’ll be billed by Piority Pass on your Amex on your upcoming statement for 1 guest entry.
