Priority Pass membership after cancelling Plat

Hi,
Ridiculous question but does the Priority Pass membership automatically cease straightaway upon cancellation of the Amex Plax.

I can still login to my PP app, which still says I’m a member until Jul 26. However I suspect when the QR code is scanned it will flag up that it’s invalid.
Just wondered if anyone’s been able to successfully use it for a short period after (we’re in T5 next week)

It’ll stop working right away. The front desk will scan or swipe your PP card and I believe it waits for a response from the underlying card / bank account.
