Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Problems with T+355 flights?

  • 32 posts

    I’ve stayed up for the past three nights in a row trying to book the return leg for next October half term, 26th/27th/28th I’ve tried for, looking to book MLA-LGW. Each night, come midnight (and again at 1am which is when the date starts showing for some reason). Nothing is released. I’ve tried being on the phone and again, the clock ticks past and the agent says no availability is showing.

    Is there something up with the system? If I do a search for Avios flights via ba.com one way for those dates it says “BA and it’s partners don’t fly that route”, which they clearly do as not only is a flight scheduled but I can do the same search for a cash ticket and there it is.

    Any ideas?

    I’ve seen similar and possibly Euroflyer haven’t released their schedule for next winter

    @Oli – BA Euroflyer doesn’t necessarily follow the same pattern of Avios release at T-355 as BA mainline services. It doesn’t even necessarily publish its schedule as far ahead as mainline services. Looking on ExpertFlyer I can’t see a flight on the three dates you mention at all. It shows flights on 23rd/24th but the availability for each fare bucket isn’t yet properly loaded. I suspect it is going to be a question of checking regularly and or setting an alert, although if it’s for half term you might not be the only one doing that so self help may yield better results.

    You learn something new every day, thank you. There was no problem booking the outbound – I hadn’t realised Euroflyer ran to different ‘rules’.

    Many thanks.

    @Oli, yes- only since their post-pandemic inception. I would imagine AGP will run, but I guess you need to decide whether to book an “insurance” flight to Heathrow then switch later?

    It’s a pain that half-term straddles the summer/winter switch. Easter of course can too.

    @Oli – try now!
