Hello. As heading suggests, looking for restaurant advice in the area around (max ~30 mins drive from) Grasse, Fayence, Callian, Montauroux. More bistro/brasserie style than Michelin star. Merci beaucoup!
I had a very good lunch in Fayence on market day years ago. I don’t think the restaurant is there anymore.
In a similarly unhelpful post I can’t remember the names; but Peymeinade is bang in the middle of your area, nicer than the centre of Grasse, has a couple of excellent local bistros; and is non-touristy enough that they are very much neighbourhood restaurants in both vibe and price.
Maybe a little more tourist-focused but balanced out by the amazing views: go up the hill to Cabris and there’s the Old Chatuea Auberge and the (unsurprisingly named) Bellevue; both are decent.
