I can see there is redemptions available on the qantas site for Denpensar to Sydney. But when search for a reward flight with BA nothing comes up. Does that mean they are not available to BA or is there another to book them. I can book other internal Qantas Flights no problem via BA.
Qantas uses dynamic pricing for a lot of its routes/rewards. I suspect you may be looking at this? Only if they have standard reward availability will you be able to book on BA or other O/W partner. Could be more to it though
You can limit your search to standard awards by specifying “classic awards” on the Qantas web-site.
Qantas do sometimes release extra awards seats for their own members that aren’t otherwise available, especially if they feel the need to apologise to their members, as they have lately. In my experience this can even include the standard classic awards.
The flight I’m looking at showing as business classic award on the Qantas site. But those details bring no flights up on BA.
Have a look on the AA site. If you can see the availability there, then call BA and try and book. If it doesn’t show up on AA then I suspect it’s not there for non-Qantas bookings.
