I’ve noticed on the oneworld page that the Qatar Premium lounges in CDG, BKK and SIN all state that you must hold a business or first REVENUE ticket to enter – as is written for the LHR lounge too. This is not the case to enter Al Safwa or Al Mourjan in DOH, where a reward ticket in First or business respectively is enough.
Has there been any clarification on this? Are reward tickets being routinely turned away from the Premium LHR lounge? Taken at face value this would be the first instance of a reward ticket not giving the same benefits as a full cash fare, would it not? Thanks for any insight.
I don’t currently use QR but it was reported on here some time ago that lounge access was being restricted – I think not even all cash tickets include it now. That said, it’s possible that staff at different lounges have different interpretations of the rules.
