Qatar Privilege Club status year dates

Grateful for any insight for those with Qatar Privilege Club status.

Last year I achieved Gold with my online account dashboard showing I needed to get the points by the renewal date of 31/03/2025 – so my ‘year’ would have been 01/04/2024 – 31/03/2025.

The website says for me to keep Gold – ‘Earn 270 Qpoints within last 12 months or 540 Qpoints within last 24 months prior to renewal date.’

So I assumed this would be quite straightforward and be based on a renewal date of 1st April each year looking back 12 and 24 months from there.

However, on my dashboard it is showing –

‘Collect 119 more Qpoints by 17 December 2025 to retain Gold or 276 more Qpoints by 07 June 2025 to reach Platinum’

So, I now realise that 17 December becomes my new renewal date as this is when I reached Gold so presumably they will look back 12 and 24 months from that date to calculate whether I have either 270 in 12 months or 540 in 24 months in that period?

I am not sure on the 7 June 2025 date and how that was calculated.

Any advice gratefully received about ensuring you don’t make a rookie error with all of this and drop status!
