A question about Qatar redemptions that I didn’t know about.

It seems that when booking,for example, AMS – BKK on Qatar, it prices up for 75k avios in J class (one way). However if you book it as 2 segments it prices up at 43k + 50k avios respectively, ie. 93k Avios in total. So it’s therefore cheaper to book it on one PNR – which is strange to me as I always assumed the flights with Executive Club were just segment based.

Anyway!

My actual question was therefore, how much would it cost me to book AMS – BKK with the second segment in F? I’m assuming/hoping that this will also price up cheaper as one PNR, however you can’t price it on BA.com so I can’t check. By segments it would be 43k + 75k Avios.
