Query re booking with Avios and companion voucher

Hi All

Just booked a flight for £81 each plus 27,500 using a companion voucher

I’ve only been charged £1 for each flight.

On the receipt it says

Payment Total GBP 162.00
Fare Details GBP2.00 + Tax/Fee/Charge GBP0.00 = GBP 162.00

Doesn’t make sense to me – can anyone explain?

There’s a similar post about AMM currently, sounds like there’s a glitch in the matrix.

I imagine the more times this happens, the more likely BA is to realise and start charging the extra or cancelling tickets!
