Quick query. Finnair operated BA flight – BA or Finnair baggage allowance?

We have BA (FinnAir operated) flights coming up next week for the Hungary Grand Prix.

Can anyone confirm whether the cabin baggage allowance applied is the BA one (ie larger bags and up to 23kg) or the FinnAir one (up to 8kg).

Our plan had been to take hand luggage only (to avoid delays at check-in / baggage reclaim) but 8kg including the weight of the bags is getting v tight…

These are to all intents and purposes BA flights so BA allowances will apply.

You’ll be checkign in with BA not AY for example
