Went there yesterday, and really recommend it. Have found a new spot for a celebration spot AND is also good value with a double-dip promotion!
This is a restaurant opened by Endo, which is the famous sushi omakase place in West London that is Michelin rated. Located in the new OWO hotel, its a great central location, very nice hotel…
Roof terrace is quiet with good views. Lots of nice comfy sofa style seating. Indoor seating a bit more standard, but still good and bright, lots of windows all round. There’s also a private dining room in the “Tower” as well as a chef’s table just off the kitchen, for larger groups.
Sundays they have a very good value £70 5-course lunch menu.
On Amex Dining for Amex Gold cards at the moment, so 10% cashback.
AND also on BA eStore for in-store Avios collection, another 10 Avios per £ spent.
So roughly 20% discount to be had, which makes this quite a bargain. £56 for 5 fine dining courses – yes please!Food is good, very high quality.
Views were fantastic from the roof terrace.
Service was very attentive, spot on.
Private – tables spaced adequately so you don’t overhear.
Very posh setting – both the restaurant, and the hotel itself (worth checking out the bar downstairs for live piano music maybe afterwards).
On a sunny day, good for a walk around Whitehall, to St James Park.+1 for the restaurant, outstanding quality and service for the money.
Managed to get the dining 10% by chance (didn’t check before booking) and was delighted with the fixed price menu they offer for a Saturday lunch. I’ll do the BA eStore next time!
Agreed with all of the above. We got a tour of the turrets, where they have private dining rooms, on the Whitehall side of the rooftop restaurant when we were there. Extra special views.
Also recommend the associated bar – Kioku Sake – on the ground floor. All drinks are Japanese/Japanese inspired. Very cosy setting too.
