Received Avios from Bicester Village – but I haven’t been

Strange to see 130 Avios in my account from Bicester Village today. I haven’t been in about 5 years so it can’t be that.
On the BA Shopping portal I don’t have any transactions. I did shop in Elemis recently but it according to their rates it doesn’t really work. No other transactions or suspicious activity across my cards and account.
I can see someone a few months ago said they did some shopping in T5 which appeared as Bicester but they at least got an email about the transaction. Anybody experience similar?

I think I was that person. It’s happened a few times since with brands that are also in other locations. Mainly Rituals in T5 but also recently a transaction from Molton Brown at Braintree Freeport. The brands have either given the wrong mods to report on or they are moving equipment between sites and not updating them. Always a bit of a bonus when you see a few points added.

Could be a typo when someone else gave their BAEC number as they shopped.

I had it happen with IHG, got credited with 2 stays in hotels I’d never set foot in.
