Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Hilton Honors Recommendations for Hilton properties in Prague with Diamond status

  • 12 posts

    Hi everyone,

I’m planning a trip to Prague and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Hilton property where I could make the most of my Diamond status. Specifically, I’m looking for:
    • A great breakfast experience.
    • Executive lounge access with worthwhile perks.
    • Insights on upgrade options—particularly if upgrades can be confirmed in advance rather than at check-in, as I’m traveling with disabled members of the party.

I’ve been a Diamond member for about eight years, so I’m curious if the hotel would consider this when reviewing potential upgrades. If anyone knows whether Hilton properties can view this history in advance or if that even makes a difference, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks in advance, and wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

    Cheers,
    John

There are only two Hiltons in Prague and both are good.

Compared to the other Hilton, Old Town is typically marginally more expensive, is overall smaller, and has a slightly better location for first-time tourists.

Breakfast at both is great, lounges have good offerings, Old Town lounge is not as huge. Both are responsive to emails. They may be slightly stingy with the “default” upgrade if you don’t ask.

There is an SLH in Prague too but I doubt these care too much about Hilton diamonds, they just give you the published benefits.

I’d recommend Old Town over the other every time. Far better location. And whilst lounge is smaller the other is huge and impersonal. The food in the lounge at Old Town is also way better.
