Hi all,
Looking for recommendations for our honeymoon in July 2024. Ideally we’d fly out on Tuesday 9th July and come back sometime around the 23rd – 25th July, but can be a bit flexible.
We have 255k Avios, 2 BAPP Vouchers and one Barclaycard Cabin upgrade voucher.
My partner and I don’t mind anywhere, but would love South America and/or the Caribbean. She and I are in our mid 20s. Ideally would be nice to fly Business since it’s our honeymoon.
Budget for the trip after flights can be around £4k but can be flexible – ideally would spend less and don’t want to be too crazy! We’re happy to just drive around to beaches, go on nice walks, eat nice food, see the sights… don’t need to do anything too expensive. We love history etc.
Hope that’s all helpful info – would love some advice on the right destination but also the best way to use our Avios and voucher(s).
Happy to provide more info as needed! Many thanks in advance
On a 4k budget, much of the Caribbean will be too expensive. Roatan isn’t too bad price wise and beaches are stunning. If you dive, it’s very good. From there you can head to Central America and further south. We did a month in Central America in a mix of 4* and 5* accommodation for £9k for the two of us excluding the US long haul flights, which were reward flights. You’d need to indirect through the US and we stayed a night in Miami on the way out getting some decent Cuban American food.

Brilliant thank you – tbh, we could stretch the budget further if needed – will check out your itinerary thanks so much for the routing through US idea!
