SO I took advantage (as many did) of the reduced tier point status levels last year and double tier points on BA holidays, to gain Silver status, which is valid until August 2024 (2 years from my membership year end date Aug 22).
I never got to the 600 points necessary for normal Silver qualification, but could maybe do that this year….my question is would I requalify to 2025 if I did that utilising the 465 tier points I already got after August 2022, ie 135 would see me requalify for another 2 years. Or is that not how it works?
So your collection year is 9th August 2022 to 8th August 2023 and you currently have 465.
If you get the remaining 135 by 8th August you’d still only be Silver until September 2024 i.e. the rest of your current year, your 2023/24 year and then the 6 weeks of so run on period.
