you will get whatever the referral bonus shows you on your account regardless of the card your friend applies for (they just need to use your link and then select the actual card they want)

I’ve noticed some threads on reddit linking to a version of the 80k Amex Plat offer that’s a 100k signup bonus. Is that something that’s widely available, as I’d quite like to give Rob the additional bonus MR points if available given I contribute nothing else to the site?
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘widely’ but I signed up via a referral from Player 1 for the 100K avios – it came up on his account in December 24.

So as a platinum card holder I refer someone and they pick the gold card I will still get the bonus referral I would if they took the Platinum card? Currently 18k avios.
