So, I have posted about this before but am due a genuine refund for seats selection. Approx £160. I submitted this online on August 12. My case is “received” but no further update. I sent a letter to BA Customer Relations to follow up, which last time seemed to trigger a response. No such luck this time.
I know I can go to MCOL after 8 weeks (?) and this is way beyond. I also don’t want to cause unnecessary work for anyone and frankly as long as I eventually get my money, I don’t care. But it is starting to annoy me now…
Anyone got any clues what I can do next to nudge them? I’m a lowly blue.
Email Sean Doyle’s office with the facts (and only the facts), plus your desired outcome (eg repayment within 14 days and X Avios as compensation for the delay). Always yields a positive result for me when CS drags their feet for months.
