Refunded Avios not showing on BA

Forgive me if this is a stupid question… I recently booked a domestic American Airlines Avios flight via Qatar ( first time in doing that). The flight was cancelled so I contacted Qatar to get the Avios refunded. 30 mins later I got a phone call from BA saying that my Avios had been re-credited to my account. Now, I can see the Avios in my total balance when log into the Qatar website, but they aren’t showing on the BA site. Are they held in a different pot or something as I used them for a Qatar booking or is it just BA IT being rubbish? It’s been a few days since it was done and still not showing.

They’re completely seperate pots. You need to use the combine my Avios tool to move them between airlines.
Ah ok – my accounts are linked, which is how it pulled the Avios from my BA account in the first place. I’ve just logged in to the combine my avios tool and it’s still only showing the main BA balance.. What am I doing wrong?
