Anyone got this card – how does it compare with AmEx Platinum?

Good Morning from Litchenstein, where the hikes around the ski towns are absolutely stunning and it is still quite quiet outside of the rush of lots of tourist buses turning up in Vaduz each morning.
Quick question, does anyone have any experience yet of Revolut Ultra? I must admit I have been a bit tardy recently with seeing updates here, so may have missed a review or forum post. Wondering if it is worth it? OH has a large cash transfer to do soon from US $ to GBP, and according to his colleagues Revolut is the best, and many of the perks of Ultra look like they might come in handy if we just pay for the card for 1 year. We are both BA Amex Premium credit card holders otherwise, so e.g. don’t get car insurance through a Platinum alternative and tend to book a yearly policy ourselves.

Rob replied to someone else thats its not good. no article as of yet.

Yep on Revolut Ultra. As far as I can see, if you’d otherwise be paying cash for an FT sub it might be worthwhile, otherwise it’s a bit meh.

That’s kind of my view too – I think they need to offer some extras like the AmEx dining/HN credit.
They do appear to have an ‘any reason’ cancellation cover up to 70% though as well as car rental xs cover.
Oh, and on the fx transfers – I used this frequently some years ago and it worked very well with a good exchange rate as long as it wasn’t a weekend.

Think I’ll stay with AmEx Plat for now.

The subscriptions included in Revolut Ultra are not “Travel” enough for me.

Lounge access is all very well, but I can’t readily see who is providing it (for example it is the card itself that gains you access to a lounge, or a third party like Priority Pass or DragonPass?).

Lounge passes are provided in partnership with DragonPass
