Reward Flight/RJ Status

I am looking to make a reward flight booking with BA (economy) but I can not enter my RJ membership for obvious reasons.

Can anyone advise how easy/or difficult it is to attach my RJ Gold Sparrow so I can select seats.

You make the booking in the usual way then go to Royal Air Maroc, select manage (doing this from memory so that might not be the precise term), enter the PNR and surname, then update the FF number with the RJ one. You then go back to BA and should now be able to select seats FOC.

I did this several times but the RJ number would not ‘stay’ in the booking. It disappeared and reverted back to BAEC after a few days. In the end I went on Twitter/X and they did it for me. At T-7 I could select seats no issues.

This worked for my trip in March (!thanks) but since I believe it has been patched

I retried Iberia, finnair, RJ, Qatar but no luck.

Any other ideas?

I had the same issue. RAM website worked in January but since last month, I’ve been getting issue there too. DM’d BA on X, and FFN was updated quickly.

You booked with BA, but you tried every option apart from BA…contact BA by any method and they will change it on your booking.
