Hi All.
Appreciate there is no scientific answer for this, so just after, if any, experiences with…
I have a reward booking from LHR to BOM that I no longer can make, however a family friend would like it instead. (I understand reward flights are a community and we’re all after the same thing).
Does anyone have experience in cancelling a reward flight then seeing it available again? Ie once cancelled, does it automatically being available in the pool so my friend can start looking asap? Or is this something that BA revenue management would assess first.
Hypothetical and no correct answer for i appreciate, just after any experiences from anyone.
There’s no person assessing, it’s all an algorithm these days. If it’s going to reappear it will do so within minutes / immediately.
no guarantees at all.
I’ve heard of if happening but more often than not they don’t reappear until much later – days and weeks not hours – if they reappear at all.
