Eyup.
I need an airport hotel for one night and have never struggled as much as I am now in Caput Mundi (or at least the airport anyway).
At first I wanted the easiest option of a terminal connected & walkable hotel. Only Hilton fits that spec and its reviews are frighteningly bad. Is that true?
Next, I thought I’ll just take any hotel’s shuttle: found precisely 1 that has one (Accor/maybe a Mercure) and that will probably have to do although they have either a standard room or a mega suite & nothing in-between. It’s a Thursday in March for heaven’s sake!
What have I overlooked? Any recommendations please?
You haven’t overlooked, it really is a crap airport for on site hotels. The Hilton is as bad as reviews suggest. As is the Crowne Plaza that is about midway to Rome – the breakfast room looks like a set from Shirley Valentine.
