Having a bit of a look for next summer and there’s not much about apart from the USA which has loads of availability – typically 4 x J next summer.
Any thoughts on other routes which typically have more availability (I have a 241 voucher so there is supposedly more availability with this)
Other question – can you use the 241 on any of the partners e.g Qatar etc?
Amex BAPP voucher may be used on BA, Iberia or Aer Lingus. Although Aer Lingus is a challenge as no guaranteed seats, smaller J cabins on smaller planes, waitlist preference given to their own elites.
The extra availability with the voucher is confined to certain types of fare, it’s not across the board, and a lot of it seems to have dried up recently.
Seats are only released on BA 355 days out, so a big chunk of the summer award inventory hasn’t appeared yet. For very popular routes in school holidays, you do need to be prepared to book as soon as they’re released.
