I know there’s typically an ‘Honors Sale’ rate which becomes available around Black Friday extending up to New Year, is there typically another period mid-year where those rates are available too? Trying to use my Amex offers to best effect.
The rates labelled Honors Sale are often higher than the rates that were on offer prior to the so-called sale.
I think hotels are going to be full this summer even with ridiculously high rates, despite service levels not recovering to pre covid so there’s not much incentive to offer lower rates.
I’ve booked semi flex rates but I noticed some hotels are dropping their rates in the week before the stay, in which case I convert them to prepaid. I will be spending more than £800 (on my 4 Amexes) before the end of June anyway
